What is Bus Rock?
The ultimate goal of any musician is to play together in an ensemble of peers. Bus Rock is a nation-wide Rock Band program, for primary school students. Each week our Music Bus Rock Bands have the opportunity to play together with other musicians of their age in thirty-minute rehearsals, guided by our Music Bus teachers. In these rehearsals, they will learn ensemble skills, musicianship, songwriting and (most importantly) to work collaboratively in a team environment. Best of all, your little rock star will love jamming in a Rock Band!
Who can join?
We are opening the Bus Rock program up to ALL Music Bus students in Grade 1 to Grade 6. This inclusive program is open to all students who are learning keyboard, guitar, drums or singing. Don't worry if your child is a beginner, our specially designed, Bus Rock curriculum caters for the very beginner through to true rock stars! The multi-layered sequencing of our brand new Rock Band book allows children of all levels of skill and experience to join a band with their peers, and play specially written child-appropriate rock songs.
There are no auditions required - if your child wants to take part in this awesome program we want to hear from you!
